The Song 29...

is Great Divide Proven. Designed as our backcountry long hauler, the Song29 has already done well in The 2,711 mile Tour Divide, Leadville 100, Vapor Trail 125 and many big excursions. The Song has 1 1/2" of active, comfortable suspension travel, yet it remains efficient enough to hammer on for hours, even days, on end. The Song price includes custom geometry and sizing. Titanium seat stays and flex plate come standard.

$2350 USD + Powdercoat

Available options: Easton Scandium, carbon fiber seatstays

About The Song | Photos

When we designed our softail, we had a few goals in mind:

1. Lightweight, yet stiff & responsive
The Song combines the optimized weight & stiffness of aluminum with isolated flex in the titanium. With size-specific tubing we tune the frame stiffness while keeping the weight down. We designed the flex-plate with the help of computer modeling & Finite Element Analysis, assuring optimal lateral & torsional stiffness. Frame weight is 4.25 lbs for medium.

2. Active, tunable travel
Built around a Cane Creek damper, the Song can be tuned for sensitivity to the smallest bumps, even for lightweight riders. Likewise, the air shock can be firmed up to activate only under bigger hits.

3. Low maintenance & easygoing
The Song has no bearings to maintain; just silent, pivotless flex. The Song is designed to be durable with ultra-endurance racing in mind. In a pinch, the frame can also be disassembled and packed small for travel and it can fit in your grandmother's old suitcase.
